The iPhone Duo folds out to a 7.6-inch screen and goes on sale Oct. 23 in more than 70 countries and regions.
Updated
Apple’s first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, goes on sale Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, in more than 70 countries and regions, among them the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, India, Japan and Germany. Apple set pre-orders to open at 5 a.m. Pacific time on Friday, Oct. 16. Another 28 countries and regions follow on Oct. 30.
Closed, it’s a compact phone with a 5.4-inch outer display. Open it and you get a 7.6-inch inner screen that Apple says is 50% larger than the iPhone 18 Pro Max’s display. It runs on the A20 Pro, the same chip used in the iPhone 18 Pro models, unlocks with Touch ID built into the side button and comes with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB or 2TB of storage.
US pricing starts at $1,999. That makes the Duo a product for early adopters rather than the typical upgrader. How the hinge and inner screen hold up in daily use will say more about its future than any launch-day spec sheet.
